Today, I read a Robert F Kennedy article about Sarah Palin and the Alaska Independence Party – mostly lamenting the lack of interest that the mainstream media has shown in the fact that Todd Palin was apparently a member of a secessionist party for 7 years, and that Sarah Palin addressed their convention in 2006 and 2008 (via video), telling them to “keep up the good work!”
Perhaps the lack of media attention explains why “alaska independence party” has only recently edged out “palin hair” in Google search popularity:
