Today, I’m looking at a search that is truly over the hill. As you may remember, long, long ago, some people seemed concerned or confused about Barack Obama’s religious orientation. And verily, they did some searching on it. See this chart, which shows the popularity of the search “barack obama muslim” on Google:
As you can see, this search has seen its 15 minutes of fame come and go. Its heyday was from January through April of 2008, but when looking at the last 30 days (August 2008), there weren’t even enough searches for Google to chart it.
I guess people did, after 3 months of searching, figure out Obama’s religion.
