On the day after the biggest speech in Barack Obama’s career, the Google Search Trends are all abuzz with Sarah Palin searches, and his name has dropped off the map.
People are thinking about her…
- politically: searching for “sarah palin vp”, “mccain palin bumper stickers” and “sarah palin creationism”
- physically: searching for “sarah palin vogue”, “sarah palin miss alaska” and “sarah palin beauty queen” and “sarah palin photos”
- as a mom: searching for “palin daughter pregnant”, “down syndrome” and “palin family”
And the one search that stands out for me: “sarah palin scandal.” What’s up with these people? Are they that hungry for something juicy? Or are these searches by political commentators, just digging around for something interesting to say?
